Odysseon is an RPG where all of the graphical assets are built from Ganbreeder image generations. Explore a dreary world populated by strange people and creatures conjured up by AI neural networks, pieced together alongside a soundtrack of long forgotten vintage production music.

CONTROLS
Odysseon uses standard RPG maker controls as well as some other additional options.
- Arrow keys to move
- Z and X for Accept and Cancel
- ESC for menu
- F5 to toggle Fullscreen and Windowed
- F6 to change window scale
CONTENT
Odysseon contains mature themes and imagery and is not intended for younger audiences, please play at your own discretion.

- Strong Language
Along with this, there are also animations with screen flashing. Players with photo sensitivity should play at their own discretion.
FAQ
- Is this game free? - Yes, Odysseon is a free game, there are no plans to monetize this game. Odysseon uses public domain graphical assets and is itself a public domain game.
- Can I stream this game? - Odysseon samples many songs from old vintage production libraries, as well as remixed music samples. Some of these songs are known to be picked up by Content ID so stream at your own risk. If you do stream or "lets play" this game, please leave a link to your recording in the comments, I'd love to see it.
- How long is this game? - The current build of Odysseon has a play time of roughly 1 & 1/2 hours.
- Is this a good speed game? - Odysseon is a very dialogue heavy game, with a focus on unique character conversations. Much of its content is woven into the game's narrative and world building. I'm not sure if this would be a very interesting game to speedrun but more power to you.
- I found a bug/typo! - Please leave it in a comment and I will see that it is fixed.

i was about to ask about if you made the songs then i took a look at the readme file, anyway, are you planning on adding your own original songs someday for the complete game?
that would be great if yes, and i'm sure they will be added
i gotta give it to ya. you know how to make a well crafted scene.
the way the music fits with the background is great, really sets the mood.
i guess the only real critique i have is that the water made it look like you were on a floating island and the water patches are hollowed out parts of the ground. i'm assuming you tried to make it look like the sky was reflecting off of the water and that's what it was supposed to be.
To be quite honest, this is an RPG I was really looking forward to playing from beginning to end. This mix of medieval elements, bizarre character style, interesting dialogue and (mostly) a vintage soundtrack was very, very interesting. So many props for this game. I even made a simple text, but showing how I liked the proposal. Congratulations on your work.
P.S.: Unfortunately, I had to replace or remove some music of the gameplay, due to copyright issues. But I really recommend this game to everyone (mostly because I want everyone to hear the songs). It's a great work being made here.

I'm having fun so far but the game crashed each time I tried to use the small bomb and I got this error
Thanks, I know what's happening, this also clued me into some various sound bugs as well. I'll have a fixed version up as soon as possible.
The latest version should now fix this issue, you should be able to carry over your current save file.
